CAE Endowment Fund
Undergrad Scholarships Submission Guidelines
DEADLINE: JUNE 30TH
The CAE Endowment Fund is committed to assisting the dental profession in its quest for continuous improvement in endodontic care. In 2007, the CAE Endowment Fund Committee instituted the “Canadian Academy of Endodontics Executive Secretary Memorial Scholarships” in memory of Dr. John Philips and Dr. Carl Hawrish. Drs. Philips and Hawrish gave many years to the CAE as Executive Secretary. These scholarships are awarded annually to an undergrad dental student from one eastern and one western Canadian Dental School.
Who can apply?
The scholarships are awarded to a third- or fourth-year undergrad showing proficiency in Endodontics.
How will nominations be reviewed?
The CAE Endowment Fund Committee will review each nomination and select one applicant from an eastern and a western dental school. If there are only applicants from one part of Canada, both recipients would be awarded from that area.
What is the timing of the scholarship allotment?
All awards will be distributed following the end of the CAE Endowment Fund fiscal year (July 1- June 30) to the applicant directly.
How does one apply?
Individuals are nominated by their Canadian undergrad program director. Priority will be given to student CAE members, but all are encouraged to apply. Nominations must include the following:
- Applicant’s full name
- Applicant’s complete address (no PO box numbers)
- Applicant’s dental program
- Program director and contact information
APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED by JUNE 30TH. Late submissions will not be accepted.
